Construction of a 5.2 km long sewage collector has started in the town of Leskovac, from the city to the wastewater treatment plant.

For this project, Peštan company delivered “Spiropipe” spiral pipes with 1000 and 1200mm diameters and SN8 ring stiffness.

Electrofusion coupling ensures the absolute sealing of the system to the highest standards. The sewage collector route runs through an area covered with agricultural land and absolute sealing makes it impossible to pollute the groundwater used for greenhouse irrigation and vegetable production.

At the beginning of the works, the routes, equipment, and method of execution were thoroughly reviewed by the supervisory authority and it was found that everything was done in accordance with the best world practice.

The Mayor of Leskovac attended this review and was pleased with our readiness to approach this project.
