PLASTIC MANHOLES

A special segment of the Peštan company’s production is represented by inspection and drainage manholes. Peštan manufactures inspection manholes, with or without precipitators, as an integral part of collectors in gravity drainage systems for waste, stormwater, or mixed water. As a standard, they are made of Polypropylene. The company Pestan has also included drainage manholes in its production program. These products are mainly intended for the collection of rainwater in rainwater drainage systems for individual home installations and in civil engineering systems (collection of rainwater from and next to roads).

    Inspection manholes are produced as monolithic constructions composed of a flat bottom, manhole body (PP corrugated pipe) and connections according to project specifications. Connections and shaft body are welded to each other by extrusion welding. In the same way, the bottom of the manhole is connected to the body of the manhole. Peštan inspection shafts are an integral part of the collector in the gravity drainage systems of waste water, storm water and mixed water. They are used as inspection manholes, manholes for stopping the fall (cascade manholes), manholes with settling tanks or manholes for washing sewage. Inspection shafts are made according to the order / specification of the project. The diameter of the manhole is DN 800 mm. Shaft heights are up to 6m. The inlet/outlet diameters of the connecting pipes are up to DN 600 mm.

    Drain manholes

    The company Pestan has included drainage manholes in its production program. Drainage manholes are produced with a flat bottom or with a kinete at the bottom of the manhole. Shafts with a flat bottom are produced from corrugated pipes and in the following diameters:

    1. Drain shafts ø400 ID
    2. Drainage (revision) manholes ø500 ID
    3. Drainage and inspection manholes ø600 ID

    Manholes with a kinet at the bottom are made of PVC material (the bottom of the manhole), the body of the manhole is made of PVC pipe and are produced in the following dimensions:

    1. Drain manholes ø315
    2. Drain manholes ø400

    Connection of shaft and pipe

    Whether it’s inspection shafts or drainage manholes, at the points of connection between the manhole and the pipes on each Peštan manhole, there is a muff into which the corresponding pipe should be inserted, and the watertightness is achieved through sealing rings made of EPDM rubber (EN 681), which are either mounted on pipes (corrugated pipes) or inserted in a muff (smooth pipes).

    Installation, installation, connection of pipelines with manholes and testing of the system is carried out according to valid European standards – EN 1610.

     

  • Construction of the drainage system on the highway Banja Luka – Doboj

    Delivery of PP inspection and drainage manhole pipes as part of the Banja Luka – Doboj highway construction project, section of the Prnjavor – Doboj road. Contractor, construction company Integral inženjering a.d. Laktaši, opted for Peštan PP manholes, diameter ø 400, 600 and 800 and different heights in accordance with the project and conditions on the ground. As part of this project, Peštan PP corrugated ID pipes were also delivered, i.e. the entire drainage system is absolutely entrusted to one manufacturer.

    The total value of the delivered shafts is EUR 293,000, and the project was implemented in 2015.

    Donja Bistra

    In September 2021, the “Donja Bistra” project was launched in Croatia. This project is being realized in a quiet part of the settlement of Donja Bistra in Mokrička street, and consists of buildings consisting of two-story apartments according to the concept of terraced houses and independent family houses. Completion of the works is expected in May 2022. For the needs of this project, the Peštan company delivered PPR, Pert-Oxy, HTPP, S-Line, PVC KG and PEHD water pipes. In addition to pipes and fittings, Peštan manholes, as well as Confluo Premium line sinks, were delivered.
