Peštan laboratory provides physical-mechanical and dimensional testing services in accordance with domestic, European, and international standards, regulations, and norms that are applied both in domestic and in European and world practice. The service of the polymer testing laboratory is the basic resource for collecting and analyzing information about materials used in the Peštan company, regardless of whether they are basic raw materials such as polymers or extremely specific ones such as additives or the final product.

Although tests have been done since the very foundation of the Peštan company, this year the Peštan laboratory was physically moved from the halls that belonged to the production sector and renovated, so now it is in a separate space that enables better monitoring of working conditions. The physical relocation of the laboratory was only one of the preconditions for the accreditation of the Peštan laboratory.

When a laboratory is officially accredited, from the day of obtaining the certificate, it can perform tests and issue test reports with the accreditation mark for its own needs and for all other test clients.

Accreditation of laboratories is used worldwide with а purpose of confirming technical competence to perform certain types of testing. This means that it satisfies both the requirements related to technical competence and the requirements for the management system, which is necessary for the validity of the test results issued by such a laboratory.

The decision on the accreditation of the Peštan laboratory is officially made on July 25, 2022. This means that from the day of obtaining the accreditation certificate according to SRPS ISO/IEC 17025:2017, the Peštan laboratory is able to use the mark of the Accreditation Body of Serbia and to prove at any time that the results of the tests it performs are reliable and that the tests are performed on competent way.
